Jan Šerých’s works united under one topic LIMBO influence every visitor of the Hunt Kastner gallery by their mysterious atmosphere and an aura of uncertainty. These works of art are supposed to resemble the pessimistic and dark state of mind of a depressed person. Clear, simple and familiar from the first sight, after some time they start to ingrain in us the feeling of uncertainty. We no longer feel like the masters of the universe, but like someone who lost control over the reality. And this is exactly how the artist wants us to feel.
